How To Replace or Repair Standard Auger Blades

Auger parts are easy and quick to replace. Replacing parts often will increase the life and performance of your auger and will decrease digging time. Place the auger down so that the beginning of the flighting is on the right side. Unscrew and remove the old point, replacing it with the new point. Replace the nuts and bolts. Place the bolt on the right side downward and the bolt on the left side upward to protect the nut sides. Unscrew and remove the old blade, replacing it with the new blade, here both sets of nuts and bolts face down.
