Different Little Beaver Handles For Earth Drills
If you know the basics about Little Beaver earth drills, you know they are created for one-person operation. However, you may not know that there is another handle you can utilize to make these drills compatible with two-person operations. Three handle options for your drilling needs can help you make the most of your Little Beaver hydraulic earth drill.
One-Man Standard Handle For Little Beaver Earth Drills
This handle is used for any average digging task. Usually, this handle has a 150 RPM motor, which can generate up to 225 ft. lbs. of torque to assist in digging augers up to 9” in diameter. If you require a handle with more speeds, additional options can generate up to 380 ft. lbs. of torque.
Two-Man Handles When Larger Holes Need To Be Dug
If you are attempting to dig large holes with larger diameter augers (10” – 16”) or trying to dig deep truly, two-person handles can assist you with more intense projects. This handle has the standard 150 RPM motor, but other options exist for 220 RPM and 125 RPM motors if you require faster drilling speeds.
A High-Torque Anchor Handle For Mobile Homes And Utility Work
If you want to use your Little Beaver for mobile home and utility work, you need an anchor handle to make it easier to maneuver your hydraulic drill. The standard anchor handle has a 60 RPM motor that allows 360 ft. lbs. of torque. Other options, such as 125 and 150 RPM motors, are also available if you need a more powerful handle for driving bucket augers if you ever do foundation repair work.
Do Little Beaver Handles Work On Mechanical Earth Drills?
For now, all handles are created for hydraulic earth drills and cannot be used on mechanical earth drills. Hydraulic earth drills are more powerful and allow two-person operation using a two-person handle. Also, 60 RPM is not recommended for use with mechanical earth drills.
